Their Nordisk Games division has minority and majority stakes in six other development studios. Supermassive is the third developer that Nordisk has acquired outright. The Danish company paid $103 million in 2018 for Just Cause developers Avalanche, but left creative control up to the Swedish studio. Nordisk had already taken a 30.7% stake in Supermassive in March last year, and both companies credited the move for the full buyout....

To get to the boss rush area, you’ll need to head through the basement door in the prisoner’s quarters. It’s where the training room and tailor are. Head down the corridor until you reach the third door along – it’s got a boss head alongside it. There, you’ll spot four more doors. Each one leads to a boss rush stage. You’ll be able to fight either three or five bosses back-to-back....

Following previous paid expansions The Bad Seed and Fatal Falls, The Queen And The Sea adds new weapons, enemies, bosses, and two new biomes you’ll need to battle through: The Infested Shipwreck and The Lighthouse. These areas act as alternatives to the High Peak Castle, Derelict Distillery, and Throne Room biomes, so you’ll encounter them in the latter stages of a run. Beat the DLC and you’ll be rewarded with a new ending too....

On Friday the 4th of December, Ellis caught on to the news that former Dragon Age executive producer Mark Darrah had left BioWare. Darrah hurt Ellis’s feelings a little while ago, you see, after Darrah showed support to fans who voiced concerns about Ellis’s politics and behaviour.
