Despite the fact it’ll bring back harrowing memories of my youth, I think Size Matters looks quite fun. It’s a first-person puzzler where you take control of a scientist who grows shorter by the second. As you can imagine, this isn’t ideal, so you’ve got to race around the lab, rip open drawers, take note of chemicals that need combining, and slap them together in the hopes of crafting a wonder potion that’ll reverse your height-related woes....

Describing Unciv as “an open-source reimplementation of the most famous civilization-building game ever”, dev Yair Morgenstern is working with volunteers using the cross-platform framework libGDX. Morgenstern says that Unciv is good if you’re looking to play something that’s a “small, fast, moddable, FOSS [free open source software] and in-depth 4X that can still run on a potato”. If you’re more interested in graphical excellence, animations, and a soundtrack then Morgenstern instead suggests sticking with Civilization V....

Sometimes they’ll pop off-screen for a moment, returning to track mud all over your desktop. Daft, but ultimately harmless. But the goose isn’t content to merely take a stroll through your desktop wallpaper....

Iron Gate say that all of Valheim’s weapons have been rebalanced but the battleaxe and bow have gotten some of the bigger changes. The battleaxe has a shorter wind up now, along with more stagger damage and cleaving ability. It’s still heavy though, so don’t go getting in over your head with it. You can catch some axe action down here in Iron Gate’s quick video. The bigger change for me personally is the bow....
