To take the sting out of Nioh 2, I think it’s important to create a character that exudes strength. Today I found out that other players feel the same way, and I’ve collected some of the most ‘interesting’ warriors out there.
The story follows four different characters at a masquerade ball aboard a train. Each act has an appropriately mysterious name such as “The Slow Vanishing Of Lady Winterbourne” or “The Nameless Ritual”. You can spot a bit of the unsettling crepiness in the launch trailer right here. There’s definitely something sinister afoot, from skeletons in suits to rituals by candlelight. It sounds as though all four of these protagonists are up to something questionable....

Get the Crucial P3 4TB for $289.99 (was $349.99) The discount appears to be promotional pricing to mark the release of the drive, given that it’s a new model and we wouldn’t normally expect a large discount at this stage. Regardless, the P3 looks solid, with read speeds of up to 3500MB/s and write speeds of up to 3000MB/s....

It looks great, and after being announced last year, Tinykin now has a release date of August 30th. Tinykin are the one-eyed alien creatures that swarm around your astronaut as you explore, and you can wield them in different ways to form ladders, chain electricity, push and pull objects, and blow explode things....
The expansion has four new acts, with the story inspired by Asian mythology. There’s also 30+ new enemies and bosses, and an 11th mastery, via which you can become a deadly alchemist. More things to kill and more ways to kill them; hack and slash stuff, like I said. Oddly, it seems to only be playable in Legendary difficulty, the hardest of Titan Quest’s three settings. I suppose most of the people interested in a Titan Quest expansion are going to have played a lot of Titan Quest already, so perhaps that’s not an issue....
As developers Creative Assembly explain in today’s announcement, Slaneesh is “dedicated to the pursuit of excess, gratification, hedonism, pain and perfection at the expense of any other soul.” The sort of lad who doubtless plays horny games like Succubus (a link for RPS Supporters only, there). “Commanding their sinister armies are the imperious Keepers of Secrets and the Herald of Slaanesh, whilst the core of their army is formed around cunning and deadly units such as Daemonettes and Fiends, leaving the agile Heartseekers and Hellstriders to provide lightning-quick cavalry support,” the devs explain....
I got to play a small bit of it recently, and it’s as intriguing as ever. It’s a story of violence and domestic intimacy shouldered by just three characters: you, controlling a husband (voiced by James McAvoy), must protect your wife (Daisy Ridley) and home from a violent intruder claiming to be a cop (Willem Dafoe), who bursts into your flat and accuses your wife of murder. Most intriguing is that you’re actually able to figure out how to overcome Detective Dafoe pretty quickly, Antonio tells me....
The news was discussed in the latest post over on the Two Point site. “We’re working on getting modding into Two Point Campus so you, our lovely community, can make super cool stuff for your fellow players,” says the post. “In our previous game, Two Point Hospital, we enabled Steam Workshop and had the ability for players to make their own custom wallpapers, rugs, and so on. As Polygon reported on Friday, Ubisoft claim the efforts of SNG.ONE have cost the publishers “significant sums of money” in fixing the damage caused by their attacks. It’s also caused a hit to their reputation, with disgruntled players leaving the game when it becomes unplayable. DDoS attacks work by flooding a server with information it can’t handle, filling it to capacity and making it unavailable for use. Ubisoft alleges that, for a price, users of the accused sites could choose to have Rainbow Six: Siege servers attacked, halting games and booting players hosted on the server....
Dorries’ statement follows the results of a call for evidence on the effects of loot boxes issued by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) in 2020. The report, which saw more than 32,000 responses from players and parents, found that players who paid for loot boxes “may be more likely to experience gambling, mental health, financial and problem gaming-related harms”. The government is calling for companies to offer spending controls, and clear, accessible information for players to check what they’re spending....
Back in 2017, Adam Smith (RPS in peace) recommended the original in his Unexplored review, saying that it “generates some of the best dungeons I’ve ever seen”. The sequel is doing more of that generative goodness taking it all outside the dungeon and into the wider world. It comes with a roguelikelike twist as well. After one character dies, you can choose to carry on in the same world, a few years later, with a new adventurer....
