Microsoft’s Game Pass subscription service has a monthly fee of £3.99. But I just checked and they’re offering it to me for £1 for the first month, which is ludicrous. For that, you’ll have access to the standard edition of FS2020 when it releases on August 18th. You can subscribe to the service and then cancel it immediately, giving you a month of access. You can even preload it right now, which would be a smart thing to do as the game spans the entire Earth and needs 150GB of space on your hard drive....

For installs, yep, sadly they say Beyond Light “will be a full re-download on all platforms”. On the bright side, it should be a lot smaller - going down by 30-40%. My Destiny 2 install is currently 92GB, and Bungie say a Beyond Light install will be between 59 and 71GB, depending on platform (god, I hope that 59GB is PC)....

Nvidia announced yesterday that, at the publishers’ request, all 20 of 2K’s Games previously available on GeForce Now have been removed from the service. That includes some notable removals, too - withdrawing all of the mainline Borderlands shooters, all three Bioshock games, Civilisation V and VI, and Mafia 3, among others listed in a more recent post from Nvidia. But 2K are only the latest in a growing line of publishers retreating from GeForce Now....

“Later this month, 2K will unveil details of another exciting new franchise planned for launch during this fiscal year,” the report says. That means that, whatever this mystery game is, we’ll be playing it before spring next year. Seeing as Gamescom takes place this month, it seems likely that’ll be where we’ll see the full reveal. Unless 2K suddenly decide to do their own announcement stream… I would rather they didn’t....
