This is the second video of the DLC, showing a different route than the one from last month. It’s similarly beautiful, though. I know next to nothing about Wyoming, but there are great, open vistas in the video above, with seemingly very few towns or even buildings breaking up the scenery. Maybe they’re focusing on the near-future rather than showing games still years away. Far Cry 6’s launch is the longest away, and that’s only in February 2021. Or I suppose some of these unseen games could have been cancelled by this point. Or are being reworked. Or expanded. Or have grown into a different game entirely. Or… Ubisoft please, at some point you’ve got either release BGE2 or film Yves Guillemot personally deleting its source files from every computer then throwing the hard drives into an industrial grinder, just so we know to finally abandon hope....

Last night, my squadmate and I dropped nowhere but the train (World’s Edge was the map in rotation at the time). Well, we mostly dropped on the train - if you count the times we tried and fell short of it, booping ourselves off the back. I’d completely forgotten how tough it is to land on a platform moving that quickly. It was good fun though, especially watching characters like Valkyrie and Fuse (who were introduced after the train was halted) launch their rockets and clusterbombs into the tight corridors to cause maximum chaos....

Later today, Ubisoft will announce something new for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. They’re not yet saying what it is but because Ubisoft either can’t or won’t keep a secret, leaks have sprung up. According to supposed screenshots and store info, it’s an expansion named Dawn Of Ragnarok with a lot of fantasy fanciness, journeying into Norse legend with Odin and dwarves and giants and that. According to a Reddit post, a store listing for Dawn Of Ragnarok leaked early in Chinese stores....

The Battlefield 2042 trailer basically showed off a bunch of things mentioned in Brendan’s preview. Like the way the big tornado pulls helicopters and tuk tuks into it, then shreds them.
