Released earlier today, the Summer Update closes out Battlefield V with two new maps. The first, Al Marj Encampment, is an infantry-focussed map set around a series of temple structures in Libya. Provence, meanwhile, has been “redesigned and expanded” with a series of fields and farms outside the town, bringing armoured warfare into the fray in 64-player matches. Additionally, nine weapons, six vehicles, five gadgets, and three grenade types have been added to the Battlefield arsenal - while some minor, factional changes have been made to Al Sundan, Twisted Steel and Panzerstorm maps....

Having played through Boomerang X, I know it doesn’t faff around....

Brotato is a wave-based arena shoot ’em up where you, a potato, blast and bash alien invaders using an arsenal spanning murderhistory: from sticks and stones through turret-summong wrenches all the way up to laser guns and a Fallout-esque power fists. The game does the shooting for you, automatically targetting and attacking, so you’re focused moment-to-moment on movement while planning a build in the back of your spudbrain. Gathering the Nuclear Throne-esque green globs dropped by baddies gets you both XP and money....

The Microsoft Store has a listing for ‘The Red Door’ from Activision, which is not currently publicly available. “There is more than one truth, it says. “If you go looking for answers, be ready to question everything and accept that nothing will ever be the same. Last year’s Call Of Duty: Vanguard failed to meet sales expectations. 2019’s Modern Warfare sold 30 million copies, meanwhile. It was a reboot of the original Modern Warfare from 2007, led by original Call Of Duty creators Infinity Ward, and it was also the first iteration to receive a post-launch update called Warzone....

Season Two of Warzone kicked off with this exciting zombie invasion. A new location called Shipwreck popped up, and it swarmed with undead. At your own risk, you could drop in and activate a special event, whereby you’d fend off 40 zombies and earn some sweet loot. Pretty cool stuff, but I hoped that over the course of the season, more and more locations would succumb to the undead. That they’d slowly shamble their way across the map and fill multiple spots at once....
