Here’s a trailer that Epic made for the Easy Anti-Cheat launch: Easy Anti-Cheat has been around for nearly ten years, and its creators were acquired by Epic back in 2018. It’s already a tool used by major online games, including Apex Legends, For Honor, Dead By Daylight, Rust, and Epic’s own Fortnite. It’s not locked down to any particular store or platform, either, and neither is the voice comms tech that’s now free to use....

After joining the Antiquarian Guild in the new expansion, you’ll automatically be gifted a stack of “leads,” Zenimax say. To follow up a lead on some rare item, you’ll whip out your shiny Antiquarian’s Eye tool to magically scry for the location of the shiny thing you want to dig up. Scrying is a symbol-matching minigame where you capture tiles on the board by clicking groups of symbols. There’s a bit of strategy involved in capturing all the “foci”—the round shiny bits—within your allotted turns by using special skills that convert symbols and such....

Euro Truck Sim 2 has taken a small bite out of Russia before in the Beyond The Baltic Sea map expansion but you’ll be headed much further in this time. Heart Of Russia will include Moscow and a bit further east, though SCS notes that Russia is quite large and they won’t even come close to covering all of it in this expansion. “Russia is so vast that we cannot expect to include the whole country, we do not even dare to cover the whole of the European part in one project,” they say....

As you may remember from earlier in the year, Intel launched their first batch of Tiger Lake H-series laptop CPUs back in January. Set in the midst of an earthquake, there’s a new falling vent, particle effect, splash of broken glass, and sliding office chair to enjoy every few seconds even before the player opens fire....

The first set of mobile games available to stream through Facebook from today include Asphalt 9: Legends, Mobile Legends: Adventure, PGA Tour Golf Shootout, Solitaire: Arthur’s Tale, and WWE SuperCard. They’re all free-to-play sports, card or simulation games at the moment. The point is to keep it simple for now, and add “latency-tolerant games” like these so they can get to grips with how it should all work. “We’re not going to overpromise and under-deliver,” Facebook’s vice president of play Jason Rubin says....

Thankfully this was definitely a bug, not a feature, and Bethesda have released a hotfix to sort it out. A bunch of players were affected by this thievery, losing all kinds of special weapons they’d worked hard to get. One player, “Lizardinosaurus”, reported that an NPC stole one of their guns after they died during a PvE event. When they respawned and returned to the area, they saw the cheeky thief casually using their gatling gun....

Brent Fairchild is better known as his character “CJ Martin”, a doctor who wanders the wasteland giving food and medicine to needy strangers. His generosity has inspired many players to help out, first in game, and now during his offline moment of need. Fairchild was at home in Philadelphia last Saturday when the fire broke out. He was able to get his wife and child to safety, but suffered smoke inhalation and first and second degree burns to his hands, face, and feet....

The one SteamWorld game we do know about right now is SteamWorld Headhunter, a third-person co-op action adventure that’s set to be the first 3D game in the series. We also know it’s set right after the events of SteamWorld Dig 2, but beyond that… we know relatively little about it. The trailer above is the only one that’s been shown so far, and it’s all pretty cryptic on how it will relate to final game....

As you can see, Brainwash Gang’s penchant for animal protagonists is alive and well in Friends Vs Friends, and how about that theme tune as well, eh? Catchy stuff. Truthfully, I would have loved it if the entire game looked like its animated intro sequence, but the small glimpse of actual gameplay we get right at the end still looks mighty fine as well. I think this is definitely going to be one of those games that only really makes sense once you’ve actually got it in your hands, as right now I don’t think I could tell you exactly how its deck of cards relates to the gun you’ll be carrying as you battle against your mates....
