Best LW3 - Tundra loadout in Warzone
There’s only really one way to run the LW3 - Tundra: kit it for range and bullet velocity. If you’re looking to go for a more aggressive sniping style, swap this out for the Swiss K31 or Kar98k, the Tundra is for high-velocity hardscoping. Here’s how to kit it out.
Best hitscan LW3 - Tundra loadout
I’m not the biggest fan of the default sniper scope on the LW3 - Tundra. It just feels a bit weird. With that said, it’s usually best to grab the scope that works best for you, along with the rest of this LW3 - Tundra loadout.
Muzzle: Wrapped Suppressor (Level 46) Barrel: 29.1” Combat Recon (Level 30) Optic: Axial Arms 3x (Level 12) Stock: SAS Combat Stock (Level 45) Ammunition: 7 Rnd (Level 8)
Speaking of the Optic, I really like the ‘Clean Living’ reticle on the scope. I just find it offers a super clean and easy-to-use sight. If you fancy something else on your Axial Arms 3x optic, you can change it up in the ‘Customise’ menu. Your 29.1” Combat Recon barrel is what gives the LW3 - Tundra its ridiculous hitscan ability, along with the Wrapped Suppressor. These both make your range and bullet velocity the best in the sniper rifle class, and are 100% worth using if you want to use this gun properly. The 7 Rnd Mag is another solid addition, because it doesn’t harm any aspect of the gun but lets you get a couple more shots off before having to reload - great for when you’re up against enemies in drawn-out sniper battles. Finally, we’re treating ourselves to a cheeky SAS Combat Stock, which boosts movement speed whilst not harming anything but hip-fire accuracy which you won’t be using anyway. With this loadout, you’ll be pretty much hitscan at most ranges if you’re hitting your shots. The Tundra is up there with the bullet velocity kings, the ZRG and the HDR.
Secondary weapon
So, your LW3 - Tundra is the ranged powerhouse you need to blast foes’ heads off with ease. Why not pick up something for closer-ranged encounters then? The Cold War AK-47 currently dominates the sniper support category, and the Milano isn’t far behind. You can also give the MP7 a go. If you haven’t picked that particular classic up in a while, now is the time.
Best LW3 - Tundra loadout with Perks and Equipment
Your LW3 - Tundra loadout will need a good combination of Perks and Equipment for Warzone. Here’s what you should pick out:
Perk 1: EOD Perk 2: Overkill/Ghost Perk 3: Amped Lethal: Proximity Mine Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor
EOD is always a good choice, especially if you’re looking to hold down a power position. Enemies chucking grenades up stairs is always going to be problematic, so taking a bit less damage can be really helpful. Always use Overkill if you don’t have a decent secondary, as that’s extremely important when you’re using the LW3 - Tundra. However, if you’re already kitted out, Ghost is a really strong option to go with. You don’t want to run the risk of getting caught by enemies with UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors, so avoid it by any means necessary. This can really help you get the drop on bad guys. Finally, Amped is super helpful when you’re out there sniping and find yourself flanked and in need of your secondary weapon. Switching weapons quickly is so important, and Amped lets you do just that. With lethals, you can use a variety of picks, but the Proximity Mine really does a lot to protect your back from flankers. That damage and explosion sound often gives you the time to spin around and challenge foes who otherwise would’ve got the drop on you. Plus, it’s great against vehicles. Similarly, the Heartbeat Sensor gives a bit of insight into how many enemies are nearby, but remember it doesn’t work on Ghosted baddies.
